One plan B – Baldwin Park Site

This is the site where many of the e-flyers in the Winter Park area go. I’ve flown here a few times, and while it lacks a bit in the comraderie department, it is a great site to fly electrics. You actually have a bit more airspace then the map would leave you to believe. It is fairly low traffic and great to fly early in the mornings or late in the eve. This is on the site of the old Navy base, and there is still a modestly tall building directly across the street that is in a state of abandonment. I would fly there Sunday but the winds are looking strong in the forecast. The winds typically build up quickly as they head west across the lake as the morning warms up. [..chris]
